Leonard Glazier, 88, of West Hartford, died Dec. 26. He was the widower of Joan Leopold Glazier. Born in Harford, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Japan and Korea. He was a longtime member of the Emanuel Synagogue. He is survived by a son, Michael Glazier and daughter-in-law Jody Brown; a daughter, Bonnie Glazier; grandchildren, Tracy Glazier, Amy Glazier, Tyler Debussey, Kyle Debussey, and Megan Debussey; and a brother, Phillip Glazier and sister-in-law Ruth Glazier. He was predeceased by a sister, Muriel Goldberg.

He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant. He was a member of Keneseth Beth Israel. Harry Weinroth, 91, of Stamford, died Jan. 22. He was the husband of Luba Kerschenblat. Born in Sosnowiec, Poland, he was the son of Leizor (Wajnrot) Weinroth and Sala Rachia Wilczyk. He was a Holocaust survivor who spent nearly six years in a total of 18 Nazi concentration and death camps. His parents and his four younger siblings were murdered by the Nazis when all of the Jews in his hometown were systematically exterminated. He was liberated from Dachau concentration camp by the U.S. Army in April 1945. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Larry Weinroth and his wife Hillary of Stamford, Ruth Adatto and her husband Jerry of Stamford, and Seth Weinroth and his wife Dina Gardner-Weinroth of Southborough, Mass.; his grandchildren, Derek Weinroth, Marc Weinroth, Jake Weinroth and Nicole Weinroth. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Sofi and Frieda, and his brothers, Srulek, Alek and Josel.
